The Late Show @ The Dragon 10/9/09 featuring Seph1

Seph1 is a member of Tempo Valley, a local hip hop group with a all of their own original tunes. I'd describe him as one of the most natural/free-flowing lyricists here in Hawaii.Joining him will be:
On vocals: Santino "Tino" Sgambuleri - a Guam native with extreme
range and phrasing akin to Kenny Washington.
On Keyboard: Ikaika "Ike" Tecson - a local pianist originally from
Kaneohe. Influences: Oscar Peterson, Robert Glasper, Hiromi Uehara.
Ike currently has several projects that involve blending different
styles of music into Jazz.
On Drums: Salvatore Di Amore - another Guam native with a knack for
inventing rhythmical devices and sub divisions you won't hear from
many other drummers.
On Bass: Steve Jones - another local, born and raised in Hawaii. Steve
is Hawaii's most called upon bass player for many of the greats. Steve
is recognized for his dexterity, musicality, and overall sense of
form.
I hope everyone had a good First Friday! (I hope you're still not
recovering like me...)

Live @ KTUH

This is a Live recording at KTUHs "Monday Night Live" radio show with DJ Catwings. A collaboration with members of Tempo Valley and the Quadraphonix providing the instrumentation for Iyeoka Okoawo (Boston-based Nigerian-American performing artist and award winning poet) and B-Capp (Hip-Hop MC of The Press Project) LadyPaisley, Seph1 and Paula Fuga.
I just found this Surf DVD surfing the net. Check it out. Got the TEMPO on the soundtrack.
