MARE 139
The 12oz. prophet
Carlos Mare 139 Rodriguez is an internationally acclaimed artist/sculptor and pioneer in the art and culture of Hip Hop. Leading his generation into a new world of possibility with style writing sculpture, he pioneered a vision that had, before him, no reference outside of the painted subways of the time.

MARE 139 X RED BULL 11.02.09
If you happen to be on Allen and Delancy Street look up and you will see Mare’s artwork for the Red Bull BC-1 Battle. He had no idea where it was going to be painted until Haze sent him a wk in progress shot. He went down to take flicks and it looks amazing, what was more amazing was when he turned around and saw these two dudes all painted up and recognized one of them and lo and behold it was Baby168 TVS and Charlie his partner who were painting Mare’s piece! He was floored, these cats were so spot on with this and they put in a lot of love on this piece.

Aloha Medical Mission proudly announces a benefit piano concert Four Doctors, A Patient, and a Sweetheart! to be held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 7:00PM.
This event will feature light classical piano pieces performed by four of Aloha Medical Mission’s doctors; Jorge Camara, Timothy Lee, Elizabeth Ignacio, Aileen Denny and a cameo performance by Dr. Bradley Wong. Accomplished pianist Chris Cerna is the patient and the sweetheart is none other than the Grammy-nominated and Na Hoku Hanohano award winning singer Raiatea Helm. Hawaii’s first Filipina-American TV news anchor and veteran broadcaster Emme Tomimbang will be the evening’s emcee.
Proceeds from the benefit concert will be used for Aloha Medical Mission’s disaster relief efforts for the recent earthquakes, tsunamis and typhoons in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. There is an overwhelming need for support in many areas of the Philippines and American Samoa, where some of our own loved ones reside. Aloha Medical Mission is a non-profit organization that relies on community support to reach out to these communities with its services, sending physicians and nurses along with medical supplies and donations collected by medical students.
We would like to invite you to become a sponsor for Aloha Medical Mission’s benefit event and assist us in carrying out our mission of “bringing hope and changing the lives of the people we serve overseas and in Hawaii.” Lives and homes have been lost and families have been displaced, but we can help rebuild lives as well as communities through these efforts. Enclosed is the sponsorship benefits package for your consideration. We would be honored to have you as one of our prestigious sponsors for this important event.
