FORT UNION PRESENTS
Myka 9, legendary member of rap groups Freestyle Fellowship, Haiku De’tat and Project Blowed, will be returning to Honolulu for two shows in early March. Myka is known for his wild, jazz influenced, avant guard flow, mixing rap styles with singing styles and an instrumentalist philosophy. Currently he’s on a mainland tour that will be culminating in Hawai’i.

Jazz Minds art cafe (1661 Kapiolani blvd.) onthe outskirts of Waikiki.
This night will set the mood for a more exclusive, intimate setting in a Jazz lounge with MC/vocalist extraordinaire Myka 9 interacting with local artists and musicians playing jazz funk grooves. Tempo Valley presents The Knights of the TEMPO featuring - Slam poet/spoken word artist Bridget Gray and MC musician B-Cap also performing will be labelmate Nebahe and DJ A2Z on the Turntables.
Honolulu’s own hip-hop ambassador Killawattz Jamal (back from the big island) will be hosting. These shows are presented by the good people at Fort Union.
This show is $10 door. 9pm.
